Exploring Tulum: A place so nice, I visited twice.

As you know, I first visited Tulum, Mexico back in October of 2020. It had a special place in my heart and I knew I eventually wanted to visit again & again.

This time, I didn't go solo. I’d love to travel solo again since it is such a freeing experience. I have realized I love my own company and learning & exploring for myself. There is so much hidden and undiscovered in this world, that we are unaware of. You never know what is around the corner, or what you are missing. Go explore!

I traveled with my sister and another set of sisters. After a few comparisons of hotels and AirBNB's, my sister booked our place of stay at an AirBNB, Vida Silvestre, located on the south end of Tulum. The south end is much more peaceful & safe for a place of stay.

January is considered off season, and we noticed many hotels had “clausada” signs stating they were closed for season. The temperature was pretty steady, high of 85 and low of 68 at night. Perfect weather- not too hot, not too cold, but I feel like it is always this way year-round.

Below is the photo itinerary for most of the trip. I separated them into three sections: Stays, Experience, & Good Eats.

Stays:

We stayed at Vida Silvestre for 5 days. It was gorgeous! Located only a minute bike ride from my previous place of stay at Nativus.

We booked an ATV Tour through Serendipity. We took an ATV 30 minutes into the jungle and explored the Grand Cavern Cenote and Caverns. There was a real human skull that I didnt take a picture of. Coolest experience by far.
